Things I wonder about Ghost Trick
Oct. 23rd, 2011 09:46 pmJust a few things I wonder about Ghost Trick... not that many actually.
Who called Tengo to inform him that Lynne was in the junkyard? The submarine’s already disconnected at that point. It seems like Lynne’s alone in the junkyard when she calls Kamila, considering how she freaks out when the superintendent turns up.
Maybe this is more of a “not thinking ahead” thing, but Sissel plans to save Missile’s life before he says he wants to keep his powers. Wouldn’t preventing Missile from getting those ghost tricks mean that Kamila ends up becoming a pancake anyway?
How come Sissel can’t lift the seesaw with a basketball on it, but he can pull up a woman trapped in a chandelier? I doubt Emma is lighter than a basketball.
Can Yomiel get boners?
On the subject of other puzzling things, why doesn't Tengo have sideburns in the game? When you hit up and view the dialogue, his little picture thing actually has the sideburns. His character portrait in the artbook has them too, but his DS version portrait doesn't. It's really weird.
Strangely enough, there's a picture of him with sideburns floating around. In English. He doesn't even have sideburns in the Japanese game, by the way.
[just imagine an image is here]
Really odd.
I actually downloaded Ghost Trick for the iPhone, but only the first two chapters, which are free.

Look, sideburns!
His model still does not seem to have glasses though. Yes, his glasses appear to be missing from the sprite. I wonder if the animators just got lazy and used Jeego's sprite? They look pretty much the same to me... and the iPhone sprite could be Jeego's sprite with sideburns drawn on? I dunno... but Tengo does have his own model in the artbook. With glasses.
I don't get it.
